Today my guest is Laura Andrews. Laura is a new author from Perth. She’s sharing the yummiest sounding recipe for Frangelico Balls.

Don’t forget to check out the giveaways. You have the chance to win a signed paperback.

I love Christmas and always look forward to it. What’s your favourite holiday of the year and what makes it so special?

Definitely Christmas! It brings everyone together, not only family and friends but work life is that much more chilled out and relaxed. For me family gatherings are always good fun in the Andrews house hold; generally a delicious brunch mixed in with games and fun in the pool!

Sounds like a great day! Do you watch Christmas movies? If so, what’s your favourite all time holiday movie?

Yes! I love watching Christmas movies! There’s just too many great ones to pick a favourite, so I’ll have to say that I love to re-watch: Home Alone, The Santa Clause and Love Actually.

Share a favourite holiday recipe.

Frangelico Balls’ my slight deviation from ‘Rum Balls’

15045595_10154105062472379_835048162_n1 can sweetened condensed milk

2 cups crushed biscuits – sweet (e.g. ‘Nice’)

1 cup coconut

3 tbsps. Cocoa

1 tsp. Vanilla essence

Frangelico to taste (few tsps.) *This can be replaced with Rum*

Extra coconut for rolling balls in.

**Mix all dry ingredients, stir in condensed milk, add Frangelico, roll into balls and then roll into coconut. **

I love sharing YouTube clips of holiday songs. Do you have a favourite?

This is a great mixed video here.

The end of the year is often a time for making New Year’s Resolutions. Do you have any you’d be willing to share? After all, they do say you’re more likely to achieve a goal if you share it 🙂

Working on my health, definitely. I did start dieting a little over a month ago so I just hope I keep at it. I’d like to tone up a bit, but not really fussed on becoming really fit, just healthy 🙂  I have a book signing event at the end of next year so I’d like to look and feel my best!

Not the best time to start a diet – good luck with it! 🙂 What does 2017 hold for you on the writing front? What can your readers expect to see from you?

Hopefully many more books! Being a new author, I only had my first released in late July so I have one book and one novella out at this stage. I’m hoping to have another three or four published next year. All romance stories, at least two will be m/m and the other one or two will be m/f.

Check out one of Laura’s books…
